Preparedness: How to reduce the risk of COVID-19

The more layers of protection, the harder it is for the virus to get through.

Together we can help reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 by:

» Support vaccinations

» Ensure adequate ventilation

» Create a culture where face covering wearing is normalised for years 4 and above

» Maintain physical distancing as much as possible

» Encourage good hygiene practices

» Cough and sneezing etiquette

» Ensure children, students or staff members with COVID-19 symptoms get a COVID-19 test and remain at home until a negative result is received and they are symptom free for 24 hours

» Reduce the mixing of children and staff

» Follow public health advice (testing, self-isolation) for any cases and contacts within our school.
